Cecilia says of her design "On my Mayala Country (The Dampier Peninsula, north of Rubibi, Broome), we use myoord (fish traps) to catch all kinds of seafood. The old people have built these stone myoord before handlines were invented. They are very old these myoord, but we still use them. They are made from huge rocks, filling in the gaps with smaller rocks, making walls that follow the tidal lines so that when the big tides go back out, the seafood is trapped in the smaller pools created by the rock walls. This barnunb (stingray) is one of the fish we catch and eat."
